This first version of the Datograph Perpetual, with its roman numerals is a pure classic. A watch that deserves greater appreciation, but sadly still remains a hidden gem. The unique corrector at 10’0 clock is a robust mechanism that makes the adjustment of the date function easy and safe. Fabulously engineered and hand-finished caliber that is miles ahead of some of the hyped up brands, is a joy to behold. Do you like it more than the Lange buckle? Or did the Delugs buckle just come with the strap so it was easier to leave it alone (for now)?
