Psychotic shares his excitement over acquiring his first Jaeger-LeCoultre, a Reverso Duo Tribute, and offers initial impressions. The post highlights the watch's improved time-setting function and elegant dial details, while also discussing the perceived lightness of the watch compared to other luxury pieces in his collection.

A big clap to amanico for correctly guessing my new watch!

Here are some early pics taken while at work. I’ll post some better pics on the weekend under some better lighting conditions.

I think this new time setting function is much improved that will definitely cut down from the accidental side presses of the older Duo face models.

My first full day of wearing impressions so far are:

PRO
- the satisfying snap each time the watch locks into place
- the details of the dial
- unpretentious, understated

CON
- the watch feels a bit too light. Lacks any weight. In comparison, my old 5167 is also light and extremely comfortable but the PP still had a solid feeling to it which my initial 1 day impression of the JLC lacks.

Overall, very happy with my Reverso!
Alfred

I wouldn't be able to work with that distracting beauty adorning my wrist!=) J

This is one of the best JLC novelties of the last two years and a representative example of why the Reverso is the brand's icon. Gyrotourbillon aside, the Tribute Duo likely was the best new Reverso of the 2016 anniversary year. Wear yours in great health! Best, Tim

Congratulations! And I think I'd love the CON. It also demonstrates JLC manufacturing prowess, IMO. Best! Marcelo

That's actually one thing I love about the Grand Taille and other Reversos around that size: they are so comfortable to wear on the wrist. Perhaps in time as you get used to the feeling it will become a positive trait for you as well. Cheers, John

I’ve actually got more distraction than usual today since I’m concurrently testing the accuracy of my RO Openworked on the other wrist!! Alfred
