Amanico revisits the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Calendar Meteorite Dial, a surprising reveal from SIHH 2015. He highlights the captivating mystery and elegance this unique material brings to the classic triple calendar moon phase complication. Amanico also expresses a desire to see this distinctive meteorite dial treatment applied to more JLC models, such as a Duomètre or a Reverso.

I havenât seen it but it looks as if it would catch the light beautifully. Those Reversos superb. I wonder where they get their meteorites from - âMeteorites âRâ Usâ perhaps? Regards Kev.

Apologies for mentioning Rolex in this thread.
Interesting how the one in first picture has a red date crescent and the other a blue one. I think the blue is the standard now which is what mine has. Got this one last year and can't stop staring at that dial!
I appreciate the subtle logic of that combination! Though I'm not a fan of colored gold, the red gold version of this watch appeals to me more than the steel model. On the red gold Master Calendar Meteorite, the intensity of the nearly black dial and the contrast with the red gold case create high drama. The steel model with silver dial appears almost austere to my eye. Best, Tim
