concerning the CHF and its sudden appreciation, I decided to pick up my last Swiss watch before they go beyond decency in terms of price.

As the industry is already suffering from setbacks and a slowdown, any unreasonable adjustments to counter the rising CHF would I'm sure be met with disapproval from their customers. To the point where some would say "stuff it" and hold back on new purchases.

I have been eyeing this piece for the past few months but kept it on the back burner in order to see if the urge passes. It didn't ... and when my AD called me that he had something to show me, it wasn't this watch he was referring to but a Lange Cabaret tourbillon. The Lange is sublime and looks much better in the metal; it was wearable and not quite as big as in the photos. But after a brief and serious moment after seeing the "discounted" price, all I could say was " I'll give it some thought." I realize now the thought process didn't quite align with the zeros in my bank account - so I'll pass for now..

Not wanting to leave empty handed I asked to see the Geo again. I wonder how it would look on a brown instead of black strap? No problem; strap changed and I had it on my wrist. Just like a child who wouldn't let go of a new toy, it's still on my wrist as I type.

One problem: I didn't check the box before leaving and I suspect this is not the correct box to go with the watch. I would appreciate those who own this piece or who know, to confirm the mistake. I'm sure my AD will rectify the matter when he realizes the oversight. Thank you.
