In fact it made me a little nervous on first sight that I might be 'activated'. But the Laureato writing and 'automatic' kills the dial for me on all of them. I'm a minimalist. But would I enjoy this watch if it was given to me to wear for the rest of my life? YES! But PLEASE GP... a NEW MOVEMENT FOR GAWD'S SAKE. With the challenges the Swiss watch industry faces, Jeeeeez... some excitement and 'right dimensions' please in the movement here...GP has to update this movement or reduce the price...
and it's aligned with the historic models. For the movement, the current 42mm has the larger new Caliber 01800 and if I look at AP and PP prices, I think GP Laureato is a bargain, but that's relative of course. CC
The Laureato Threesome, but not Anniversary, like your pic but current 81010 ( apologies, the white photo representation somewhat suboptimal) It’s quite puristic, a bit too bright/white for me The prevailing one probably is still the blue - that model is somewhat growing in me.. That Clous de Paris pattern plays with light.. But the grey/brown is not bad, either ! The grey/ brown also has its spell So many options, guess I‘ll need to reflect a bit about it, also in regard to my other blue dialle
I think the Laureato 42mm looks perfect on your wrist. What dial, very personal decision, you cannot go wrong with either colour. Best, CC
