Samwan presents an exclusive photo essay of the Bulgari Gerald Genta Octo Bi-retro in steel and ceramic, offering a personal perspective on this award-winning timepiece. His 'live pictures' highlight key design elements and provide a collector's impression, complementing existing reviews with real-world visuals and wearability insights.

Both Kong and Pingtsai have written excellent reviews about this award-winning piece so I am not going to repeat them.

WOW, excellent pics samwan! The Bulgari GG steel/ceramic looks great on you! Very nice my friend!!! -MW
It was a spur-of-the-moment decision. I was originally thinking of acquiring the IWC Deep Two (as a daily wear and sports watch - a piece that I can wear when swimming) but ended up with this one. What do you think? Best Sam This message has been edited by samwan on 2010-11-27 00:34:01
IMO the GG is much more interesting of a watch. The angles of the case reminds me of the stealthy lines on the F117, so cool Hope you share a on the wrist review once you get some wear time on it. As they say, wear it in the best of health! -MW
I went for the GG because it is more fun. And I stopped diving after I hurt my ear diving at Amanpulo a couple of years ago. Now I can't hear my wive's commands Sam
