In a world often dominated by hype, collector pmh6000 reminds us of the enduring appeal of classic horology with a captivating image of a Breguet timepiece. This post sparks a discussion that delves into the subtle nuances and surprising value proposition of Breguet's dress watches, offering insights relevant to both seasoned collectors and those new to the brand.

It's a beautiful watch...👍
It has all the essences of a Breguet. Enamel, the numerals, the hands. The only thing it doesn’t have is the guilloche and on this watch it’s not intended of course. Fluted case, welded lugs . . . all good. Looks wonderful on you and I am happy that you enjoy it. I sure enjoy your photo. Thank you.
I was fortunate enough to check one this weekend and was surprised at how thin it was considering the automatic movement inside. For some reason preowned prices are more reasonable than expected in the dress watch segment, possibly because some owners may think it's too big? Anyway, an outstanding choice and a bit of a bargain considering where precious metal prices are!
This one (I guess it is the 5140) made me aware of Breguet many years ago.
