When I visited the Breguet Boutique in Paris, I wore my Breguet Type XX Salmon Dial.

I knew that Breguet kept all the books where they register the date and the name of the clients of every watch they made and still make.

While Mr Emmanuel Breguet opened the special room where all these books are carefully kept, I asked him if we could see what was written about my watch. He had a look at the numbers engraved on the back of my watch, smiled... And showed me the book.

All the informations were matching with the story about my watch, the place I bought it, mainly.

Made in January 2003 ( I always thought it was produced in 2004! ) and invoiced on the 14th of January of the same year to the Swatch Group Italy who sold it to my favorite Italian AD, who sold it in his turn to me, in May 2004, on the 23rd of May 2004. We completed the story of my watch writing my name in the book.

As you can guess, it was a very special moment, for me and for my watch!

A very special birthday gift, too.
