Nicolas (amanico) shares a captivating image of his former Breguet Type XX Platinum Salmon, a timepiece he cherishes despite having parted with it. His post sparks a lively debate among collectors about the polarizing presence of a date complication on an otherwise perfect dial. This discussion explores how a single design element can profoundly impact a collector's long-term appreciation for a watch.

Oh and "our research shows that watch owners really want a date" haha
I mostly prefer watches without a date but if there is one… it doesn’t bother me too much But it is a fact that the big majority prefers to have a date. So if it were my business I would also make what most clients want. My blue dial says hi Not platinum but white gold case and bracelet
No date!
Right ?
