Bruno.M1 initiates a compelling discussion on the enduring appeal of Breguet, positing that its diverse offerings and foundational horological legacy could satisfy a collector with 'only one brand.' His post delves into the brand's unique position in the market, highlighting specific models like the Tradition and Type XX, and reflecting on the leadership of Daniel Roth and Nicolas Hayek. This article explores the community's perspective on Breguet's historical significance and contemporary standing.

I think I could settle with this.

 * The Tradition is imo one of the most unique watches you'll find in the market.
 * A Type XX is a good all around watch for daily use, waterproof, chronograph, ...
 * And for a grande complication a Tourbillon, perpetual calendar will probably tick all the boxes.

And the fact that the man who founded the brand was, is and always will be THE inspiration for new watchmakers is a nice bonus.

Is Swatch group following the right strategy for Breguet ? I guess they try but they could do so much more.
People often talk about the Daniel Roth era when he was at Breguet but to be honest I think Mr Nicolas Hayek was the most important.
He died way too soon but he understood the possibilities and potential.

It would not be the current Breguet's catalogue

IMextremelyHO these are very baaaaaaaaaaaad designed models. That date window....really? The Classique Ginza boutique limited edition is the only one with no date window, and it's an absolute banger.
