The 18-carat pink gold case together with the white lacquered dial and pink gold applied Arabic numerals and hands, give an elegant and clean look to the dial.
The Queen Elizabeth II Cup was established in 1975 to commemorate a visit to Hong Kong by Queen Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip. The race continued to run annually in the spring and evolved to an international event in 1995, with Hong Kong horses competing against those from all over the world.
