Andrea~ makes a compelling case for the Audemars Piguet Star Wheel's resurgence, arguing it could diversify the brand's portfolio beyond the Royal Oak. This discussion explores the potential impact of reintroducing the Star Wheel as a permanent collection piece, considering its historical significance and modern appeal. Collectors weigh in on how a contemporary re-edition might honor its legacy while attracting new enthusiasts.

I believe they also made a more “modern” looking version of the Star Wheel, the name of which escapes me.
But I'd rather see a reissue of the original, since it's my all time grail. It could be executed in a grey ceramic case for example, something alien-like, urwerk but slightly more classical.
The version you’ve come up with sounds very, very cool.
I am more of a fan of the original, but this version is fantastic too. AP is sitting on another icon.
Thanks for sharing. I believe you have posted this one before, no? I think I’d be hard pressed to choose. Only winners here.
AP is getting way too heavy on their RO lines… this kind of classic designs should get a comeback in their catalogues pretty sure a good portion of their clients would promptly order one. I also miss some of the Millenary line models.
