Henry (AllThingsWatches) shares his acquisition of an A. Lange & Söhne Lange 1 Time Zone in rose gold with an anthracite dial, a piece he secured after a memorable factory tour and a personal encounter with the brand's president. His post highlights the allure of this specific, now-discontinued dial and metal combination, offering a collector's perspective on what makes a watch truly resonate.

...fantastic watch! I had the opportunity to have one in my hands in 2008 and was SO impressed! Congratulations, Henry!
Yes the watch is fantastic. I saw it a few years ago but thought it would be my 2nd large not my introduction to the brand. I just can't help that my favorite metal/dial combo is rose and Grey. I also have a thing for world timers. Thanks for your kind words.
And think the rose/grey is the most beautiful combo of the fantastic Lange TimeZone. ;) Best Marcelo
You've done the watch a great credit with those pics, probably the nearest you can get to seeing it in the flesh. What a lovely watch, the blue accents on the dial really add to it. Is that an am/pm indicator, one for each timezone?
Yes there are am/pm indicators for home and world time. Thanks for your comments!
This is by far my fav Timezone version! The slate dial creates a superb combo with the PG case. UI presented here: http://alang.watchprosite.com/show-forumpost/fi-10/pi-2942216/ti-490281/s--19/ Fx
