I do not know much about the watch so don't know if I am asking too much or too little. The serial number is 438660 whicc tells me it was made probably in 1938 the numbers on the case are 281489. If anyone is interested please get in touch with me and we can work something out from the little research I have done I doubt I can afford to sent it to Vacheron.
