For Your Safety: A Message to All Buyers
- New Seller Notice: If a seller is new to the Collectors Market with less than 200 posts. While everyone starts somewhere, we strongly recommend using a secure payment method like PayPal Goods & Services or a credit card for purchases for buyer protection.
- Critical Security Alert: Established accounts can be compromised. Always request a custom timestamp (a photo of the watch with a note of your choosing) from any seller, regardless of their transaction history. For the highest security, a live video call is the best way to confirm the seller physically has the watch.
If a seller refuses these basic checks or you see any red flags, stop the transaction immediately.
Remember: A real seller with a genuine watch has nothing to hide and will understand your need for caution.
Lots of tire-kickers but nothing firm yet. Some of you asked how old the watch is and I found out from the original owner – it was purchased at an AD in Los Angeles in December 2006. Price reduced to $6650 shipped. I am not comfortable shipping outside of the USA on this one, no offers please.
Up for sale is my Audemars Piguet Royal Oak 15300 black dial. Everyone knows this watch – the classic icon of AP (and recent TZ darling) - and I think the black dial version is the best example. The bracelet is incredible, probably my favorite in the industry. The dial is also extremely detailed. And of course, the display of the beautiful 3120 movement is quite striking.
The sale includes the watch, inner/outer boxes, all papers and manuals, hangtag, and extra links. This watch has been loved and could possibly use a polishing at AP in Clearwater, FL. There are a few scratches here and there and “desk diving” on the bracelet – but no wear or scratches that AP cannot clean up to make like new again. The cost of this factory polishing is approximately $400, so my price includes a credit for this service and then some, should the buyer chose to have it cleaned up. Some people want mint condition watches, others don’t mind a little character, especially for a deep discount! Price is $6,650 shipped via USPS Next Day Express and insured. I am not comfortable shipping outside of the USA on this one, no offers please. Payment via wire transfer is expected. The watch and I are located in Delaware, local deals are welcome. No trades please; I am selling this piece to clear up cash for the next. Please let me know if you have any questions or would like to see more photos. Numerous references available and can be provided upon request. 3-day returns accepted if not as described.
