2013 is 20th anniversary of the Chopard's Happy Sport, one of most iconic watch not only for Chopard but among the Lady watches in the market since her creation, incorporating dancing diamonds waltzing above the dial. It was not till 2008, which I discovered the marvel of Happy Sport and the engineering feat of diamonds spinning above the dial and underneath the crystal without scratching it! Yes, please note the word - 'Spinning' and not sliding !

This year, Chopard will focus on personalization or customization, enabling every Happy Sport to be unique. The customer will have a choice of what to add into the Happy Sport besides the dancing diamonds. Thus it is up to the fancy, mood and creativity of the new owner, with many permutations of moving elements/mobiles to choose from.

Choose straps and moving elements. Once decided, the configuration app will store a copy of the customer's creation and generate a unique order-code and estimated price for the customer to order... through the Boutiques, authorised retailers ... perhaps foreseeable future, order online.

For order through the boutiques, if there are stocks for the components in factory, the lead-time is short - 2 to 3 weeks.

So, Happy Sport Medium now can be configured to your likings or other half's preference ... an idea for your next gift,perhaps
