Chopard

New guy here and i just wanted to say hello. Usually i hang around "the other forum" but sad to say the Chopard forum there is quite un-active. Located i Sweden and i do have a soft spot for nice watches. I'm also quite new to Chopard but right now i'm to...  

Firstly congrats on the nice piece of MM GT XL Power Control. Those are beautiful pictures. Could you tell us how you come to like the MM? Any reason you don't choose the white dial? Would like you to enjoy yourself here. Kong

Well actually i wasn't out for a Chopard. I was just looking for a bigger watch (usually wear a IWC Aquatimer or a Seadweller) so the obvious choice would be a Panerai but when i got my hands on this one i was sold. The dail i just perfectly balanced with... 

Firstly, need not concern much about the wobbling... the rotor of thie Valgranges is very well-balanced so it will spin with just a little arm movement. Chopard has placed some efforts to finish the ebauche to a pretty high degree (if you've a 3 to 10X lo... 

I don't think i have the skills when it comes to lume shots but i'll give it a try...  

I love the watch too... I need to take pics of mine as soon as I get the rubber strap on it. Currently it has that ugly brown oem strap. Looks terrible in the watch. The watch is loud!

You will notice that Chopard forums, here and there, don't quite have the same amount of traffic as some of the other watch brand sites. I do have to say though, I have seen a substantial growth in traffic since I started posting in 2005. I think that is ...
