Your santos is in perfect condition and it's very rare to see that. The bracelet is perfect too !!! Do you still have the logo on your buclke?

I bought this in Paris in 1984 and for a long time it was my daily wearer whenever I wore a watch. I had it serviced once a few years ago....

and a very beautiful piece you have! In fact, if I remember well, the Santos steel gold was the first, or one of the first watches that Cartier produced in a non precious metal. It was released in 1978, during a huge launch party at the Aviation Museum in...

Very nice Santos. I love the bracelets on these watches. They are really elegantly assembled and well engineered in terms of how the links are attached to eachother. It makes the SS Oyster bracelets on Rolex watches of the same period seem almost flimsy, ...

And I had only enough money then to buy Seikos. This was a watch that inspired me to work a bit harder then. It was once a "dream" watch for me. Surely brings back very good memories.

Here you go. Unfortunately, I do not have the extra links for this watch but it fits my puny wrist perfectly! I do not have the original boxes either as I think I ditched them in Paris....
