Just back from CH last night......
I've always just occasionally lurked on the Breguet forum, and never really thought too much about the brand--mostly because I haven't seen many of their watches in person. Well, I just got back from a vacation in Switz and Italy, where I got to see lots of Breguet watches. I have always thought them stunning in photos, but am well aware that photos can be deceiving (good and bad, depending on the watch). Well after seeing multiple Breguet pieces up close I have become enthralled with yet another brand--ugggh! The case and dial work looks second to none on most of the pieces, the dials with absolutely no peers IMHO--I especially love the moonphase dials! The movements look extremely well finshed--if not perhaps a tad too overdone in engraved decoration on one or two that I saw. And I did see one tourby--absolutely stunning. If I ever had the funds for such a piece, I think Breguet would a very stong consideration. So, now Breguet officially has another fan. Too bad my pockets won't allow for any purchase any time soon. 
I wonder if Breguet could ever replace my beloved Vacheron as my favoirte brand? Perhpas, but like I said, no room for purchase for a long time, and it really is living with a piece that gives the true feel for them--so Breguet will just have to wait. But, I'm jealous of you that have them in the meantime. Wow, just thinking about those dials sends my head spinning!
