Breguet

A late 1970s Breguet

Very different from the 1972 Belmondo Breguet shown yesterday, these 36,5 mm steel tonneau-shaped Breguet watches were made during the late 1970s, a period when the company, previously owned by the Chaumet brothers, was handed over to François Bodet (in 1975), the young manager of the Chaumet boutique on Place Vendôme.

It is believed that only approximately 20 examples were made: one of them dates from 1978 and was sold by Phillips in 2018.

They are powered by automatic calibre ETA 2632.

Best, Emmanuel
