Greatest Value Upper Luxury Sport Chronograph
Hello,
I am the owner of a few very upper luxury watches.
I fell in love with the Breguet Type XX in the early 2000s. Since that time I have bought a Breguet Type XX Transatlanique.
I love this watch and I amazed of the value (for Breguet at least).
For the price of a Rolex Daytona I have a Breguet with Flyback Chronograph.
I can't believe the prices of Patek Philippe Chronographs - just crazy money.
Why is there such a big difference? I do own a few Pateks - Calatrava and an Annual Calendar. I can not understand how the Breguet Flyback Chronograph is inferrior to Patek Philippe or Audemars Piguet (I do also own an AP Royal Oak 14790ST).
I love my luxury watches - the Breguet would have to be super value in this sector of the market.

XX is a very nice watch ...
but the part you are missing is knowledge about details of movement construction, movement finish ... If you don't care about details like this, you get a nice watch with "historical" roots.

Even if I can't disagree on the fact that the mentionned watches are way too expensive. ( As most of the modern watches, by the way ). And we tend to forget that too often. Yes, the Type XX is a very nice watch. I can't say the contrary: Best, Nicolas. ...
I PERSONALY CANNOT SEE WHY ANYONE WOULD
BUY A ROLEX OVER BREGUET ANYWAY...... LIKE BUYING A FORD TO A FERRARI..... IVE HAD 3 TRANATLANTICS OVER THE YEARS AND THEY ARE SUPERB.. SORRY ROLEX LOVERS
