First Generation Fifty Fathoms: Any thoughts on this?
Hi folks,
I have been searching, talking to people, googling (so much that my wife is complaining quite a bit)....
And I got this preliminary results:
The earlier BP FF were equipped with the small font bezels, (based on serial number, based on how the later models were using the bigger fonts throughout, then phasing out the diamond 12 on bezel to triangle 12)
And from my observation, it seems that the small font bezels usually comes with 3-6-9-12 dial configuration and rarely the other way round.
My purpose of this thread is to see if anyone share the same thoughts, or any ideas that can demystify this for me. I am someone who is very intrigued to find the "beginning", the first generation of some of the cult watches and similarly, very interested to learn more from forum members on this. Hence, I am extremely curious to know which model is the 1953 watch.
Please feel free to chip in.
