So what I've been up to lately....
I only got into Blancpains only very recently...maybe 2-3 months ago? Posted a few pictures before of my beginning stage collection. Unfortunately, had to free up some space so decided to move on with those and into these new pieces. I know it took me a while to acquire my very first and few have asked why I got rid of it so quickly....well here's the answer.....can't have them all I guess

Yea, very special early Milspec indeed!!
Although it may not have the original crown, which should be reasonably easy to find, this special Gilt early Milspec has Blancpain papers, original strap, and provenance from orig owner.....very unique. I don't see many gilt Milspecs around, do you have ...
Early Milspecs are much rarer than Civilian Milspecs.
Which are not common, either... That means a lot. Gilt or not gilt. I saw a very few gilt, but how many no gilt early milspec do we see? Almost never. I understand why you sold the tow others, I just didn't understand why you bought them. :) Best, Nicolas...
I thought those were both stunning pieces and great
pieces to start with. Thus, I bought them. It would have been great to just jump from nothing and straight into Milspecs but I searched long and far for them and no one is EVER selling ;) But I am glad that I had the privilege to own both of them before. ...
