I hope this is not a violation, so here goes: I have not association with Manfredi Jewelers in Greenwich, CT, but Rob Weintraub told me his watchmaker actually worked for Bl;ancpain, and has a distinguished and long career in the art of keeping older timepieces running. He is Old School from the old world. The difficulty is usually parts, based on my experience trying to restore a WWII motorcycle. Although the situation is not the same, I am sure a lot of parts went out the door in the years when it looked like BP was on the rocks, and the mighty quartz movements were going to ensure that the art of selling watches was using the calculator to tally the profit margins.
Looking for a Vintage Blancpain watchmaker in the US
I have a vintage Blancpain Fifty Fathoms that needs repair and I like to find a watchmaker who is experienced and has access to parts. Thanks for your help. Frank

If you need a set of hands, or a dial... If you need to service your movement, it will be easier, though. I don't have addresses in the US, but I'm sure that some here can provide then to you. Let us know, please. What kind of Vintage BP do you have? Best...
