Blancpain

thx for your warm welcome

and your kind advice - it seems, i'm not too familiar with the board rules...

Although

1. its not everybodies cup of tea taking photos in a dealers shop - in fact the dealer shot some fotos of the watch due to the fact, that Blancpain/Swiss refused to hand out any information concerning limitation numbers of this watch without "seeing" it. At a quick review by the dealer and me, there's only ONE triple digit number beginning with an 0xx  to be found on the case back at 6 o'clock, covered by the half hunters cover.

The papers of this watch ar complete, containing the name of the first and only preowner and stating as ref.no. the word "renaissance" without any number. The watch has been sold by the same authorized dealer itsself in 1997.

2. i didn't mention any prices at all nor did i ask for them. I was interested in a range, because the same watch has been sold at an Antiqurom auction in NYC on the 11th of march this year at halve of the price my dealer is asking.

You have to admit, there seems to be quite a big range - and thats all i wanted to be confirmed.

Anyway it wasn't my intention to violate your board rules - i apologize for any appearence of doing so and be assured, it won't happen again.

However, i'm still interested on any information concerning this watch and its movement, especially limitation numbers in the yellowgold version.

Thank you in advance for any kind Help and excuse my poor english as it is not my native tongue.
