The Alarm
My understanding is that the "cricket" sound will continue. I agree with the annoying alarm as you can hear it on the Vulcain website with any metal they offer. I suppose the alarm is so annoying so that it will wake even a sound sleeper!

Does anyone know how this new alarm (apparently it is a hammer striking an anvil !!) sounds like ? I hope it is not the same as the annoying cricket sound of earlier models. I am curious as to how they would stack up against the latest JLC Alarm calibre 9...
