Audemars Piguet

One of my favorite things about the 15300 is the beautifully sculpted 22K gold rotor. I love its unusual shape -- almost like the head of a battle axe. The rotor is decorated with the coats of arms of both the Audemars and Piguet families. Several years a...

thank you Daos Although I'm more manual wind man :0) this is definitely in top 5 rotors of all time for me. Still vividly remember that one of first thing on my revamped road to horological perdition was this very rotor .... one among several things that ...

I also didn't realise they were the two coats of arms of the two families from AP...you learn something everyday.. What are your thoughts on the 15300..? Or is that a silly question for such a fine piece..? Yours, Andy.

I had both the 15300 and 15202 on my list of possible watches to add to the watch box. I hadn't been completely convinced of which to choose, as both appealed to me in different ways. Ultimately, fate put the 15300 before me, and I grabbed it. I love the ... 

I'm glad you think it is the more sporty of the 2 as I prefer a more sporty look. Having said that I also love the 15305 skeleton and after seeing one (hopefully soon) I'll see if I decide to have a full on mid life crisis and get an ultimate dream piece.... 

...but the AP diver is higher up on my list at the moment. I am a dive watch nut, I fear. I'm always thinking about which diver to add to my collection. I'm very selective about purchasing watches though, so models have to incubate for awhile before I pul...

I used to prefer 15300 to 15202 and actually owned black dial 15300 at one time.... But at this age, I am getting more inclined to 15202 or, even better, 5402 ST with 2121 cal. (if I can ever find, that is) ... I must be getting old Nonetheless, your phot... 

The 15202 is the absolute essence of the modern Royal Oak, there's no question. It's the true successor to the 5402. I suspect I will own both the 15202 and 15300 one day. As for the camera, I am thinking about upgrading certainly. Everyone has a DSLR now...
