For the fun, the two cams to be changed can be seen here:

Notice how the center cam (not sur of the exact term) mimics perfectly the course of the sun in a specific spot:



They are custom made to mimic the sun movement in the sky for a specific location. Major locations (country capitals, very large cities) had the cams made in batch and kept for spare parts in switzerland. The capability to change them, along with the bezel, was one on the main strong point of the AP EOT!

Yes it's quite simple: you need to send the watch back to switzerland, where they will change the cams and the bezel to any location in the world. But inexpensive... I doubt it... They may give you some break if you don't ask for a very specific spot: ie ...

Thanks for sharing those images and the information. This kind of insight makes me dream of getting the AP EoT someday myself. respo

I sent mine to Clearwater for a 16 week cam change. AP allows one cam change at no charge, the second change is not cheap. The tough part is the 16 weeks without it. Only eight more week until the return. JerryW...

No need ot send to Switzerland, but to Florida AP service center in Clearwater. I have done that. 16 weeks was estimate but in my case some critical parts were missing and took 22 weeks in total, which is actually almost half a year. Estimated cost for ch...
