Still think it is one of the their best products, because it is adorable, "humble", classic ... and it was (& still is) a bargain (relatively, of course) ... Some snapshots, taken today : ...  

I have two Nouvelle Lemania based chronos, a PP 5070 and a RD Hommage Monopoussoir, a Daytona, a PP 5980, so I would need this Lange and a JLC Duometre Chrono to call it a marvellous chrono collection. Enjoy yours! Radu

Now, I think I would say; " a good alternative to the Datograph ". Good case size, superb movement. Less convinced by the dial, but more convinced by this dial than by the later one. Nice series of photos. Best, Nicolas.

A good alternative to the Dato... In my mind, there was no doubt compared to the Dato which is bigger, thicker and heavier. I've got another version : rose gold and black dial. Best Didier.

Lovely pictures Oliver, thanks for sharing! I find this 1815 chrono very charming. It's hard to say if I like this version (the original) or the current production version. I find yours is more charming/vintage/classical looking whereas the current one is...
