whilst i have not had the pleasure to listen to many other Pt cased Minute Repeaters, the one time that i heard Patek's 5316P it did sounded better ( the Patek i mean)
As much as I hate to admit this hahah (You know how much Lange means to me 
) Hence i was wondering if it is indeed a case that ALL Pt MR's are considered inferior in terms of its melody? I agree with you about those in Ti, or WG, RG as mentioned, but you know me, somehow I still want to find some ways that I can "side" Platinum!

Do you have any guess what prevents it from sounding better? In your opinion is it about movement construction, or about case material and dimensions, or smth else? Thanks.
I've always read titanium and RG are better...
...but it's hard to resist the heft of PT.
Its the heft of Pt which reminds me of why its all worth it.
The other materials are fine on their own aspects, especially the innovative novelties. But at the end of the day when all is said and done, there is this absolute serenity that one feels by having a Pt masterpiece around your wrist.

Probably one of the few, if not the only demerit on a Pt encased masterpiece?
I know what you mean about the tradeoff between acoustic quality and platinum.
I recall comparing the platinum ZW Striking Time with a the gold one. The gold one sounded noticeably better. But the weight, the heft, was absent. And of course, congrats on your beautiful Richard Lange Minute Repeater!

The Full Strike from Chopard in platinum due to
its construction sounds good whatever the material and I believe that in platinum it is among the best as it channels the sound even better. ...

It sure is Nicolas, I am really proud of it, and feel so blessed to be able to own one out of the 50 there is. I do not know if they might decide to execute this MR in the other golds, as they did with the RL PLM, but perhaps when they do, the opera there...
