Folks, I want a Moonphase- Nay, I need a Moonphase! What are your thoughts on the Saxonia Moonphase? I’ve seen it in person and liked it quiet a lot- however, I always associate Lange with manual winding and I’m still trying to get on board with this bein...  

You should opt for the new Lange 1 Moonphase Day/Night in white gold and black dial (we already discussed about this one. It's a stunner for me) but you have already bought a Lange 1 (at the same time they're very different). Sorry for the bad picture. Or...  

But I lost interest really fast! The black dial is not that interesting and I have a thing for Langes silver dials! Also, the white font looks a tad cheap and the date wheel should have been black. The Moonphase, as beautiful as it is, it quickly lost its...

I think for the money it's hard to beat this watch. And despite it being automatic, a. it's still a beautiful movement, and b. automatic movements have been a part of the Lange DNA since its revival in 1994. Yes, the new L1 MP is a more attractive watch-a... 

There’s no doubt the L1 MP is an excellent and beautifully executed watch. If I am to buy a Moonphase I was considering the JLC MUT MP but the Saxonia MP is certainly much better and being automatic is not that big of a deal.

To try on the Saxonia thin 37mm version and while I was trying it on the salesperson brought out the Saxonia moonphase too which was new at the time as well. Having them side by side totally ruined the Saxonia thin for me as it was too hard to ignore how ... 

But the Saxonia Thin 37mm is by far one of my all time favourite watches and it’s not fair to compare it to the Moonphase! At 40mm it’s a tad on the bigger side but doesn’t wear big and that moon disc is very well executed!

The salesperson that day brought the moonphase out without me asking while I was trying on the thin and it totally screwed me up! In any event if you have a Lange 1 then the Saxonia moonphase is a no brainer. The 40mm size looks fine on your wrist. Would ... 

Lange’s rose gold is pure beauty. The only white metal watch I ever liked is the Lange 1 which looks incredibly modern and elegant yet subdued!

I was very tempted to acquire this piece months ago.. but the allure of Zeitwerk was too much to overcome.. For me, the size is close to perfect (would have preferred 39mm), and I love the overall layout (clean, elegant and legible..) and of course the mo... 

Indeed I have a Saxonia 35mm. I love the Lange Moonphase. I like the Saxonia Moonphase in photos. However, in the flesh I was disappointed. The big date seems out of place. The watch seemed off and not in harmony. As others have said, I would buy (and may...

Certainly something to consider. i haven't had the chance to see it in the metal yet but i do love the looks of it.

I have seen both the rose gold and the white gold in metal. The white gold/ black dial version stands out more in picture. But in metal, the black dial is not that interesting. While the rose gold/ creamy dial one is warm and gorgeous.

for a MP, I prefer the Lange One which offers the manual winding and a touch of originality with the off-centered dial. Fx

but i realized i don't like the day/night indicator! i also now have the Lange 1 in white gold so the Saxonia MP makes sense for a moon phase. only thing is whether or not I'm fine with an automatic Lange!
