Interestingly, the actual date of the launch was - of course - the 24th, but Herr Blümlein wanted the dates set at the 25th such that they would be correct in the photos in the following day's newspapers. Yet another mark of the late man's genius.

Yes, truly difficult to capture Lange's mother-of-pearl guilloche dial well in photos.
To me, these dials look best in low, indoor lighting. I see more dial colors in those conditions. I love dials that change color like this.
