I can't think of any better one than your PLM. Actually, a friend of mine has the Pt. version of the RL PLM as well as the basic RL. And he's very happy with them.

The RL is supposed to be one of the most accurate Lange's. The movement is designed to stop exactly after having used up 38 hours of power reserves, without any loss in amplitude. It's actually the mechanism that made me buy the watch rather than its aest...
Taking away the technical bits eg fusee and chain, enamel dial etc and evaluated purely on design aesthetics, I think the center seconds of the RL is nicer.. U have all the Roman numerals displayed perfectly on the dial without being eaten up.. Ps : great...
This RL is unique and iconic in itself - how often do we have Langes with central sweeping seconds? It is a nice confident statement of the accuracy with all the mini sub-second markings.. Regards, skyeriding
since my PLM is Pink Gold I am wondering if there is still a place for the Platinum RL in my life. However maybe two Roman Numeral three hand watches would be too much (though I am tended more and more to the more simple or stealth complications nowadays ...

I vividly remember the first time I saw a photo of a Platinum Richard Lange. Totally amazed by it. Your wonderful photo revives that moment. This IS the ultimate time only watch for me.
