I might as well go public since it’s a done deal
My wife was so kind to buy me the Vacheron Traditionelle Perpetual Calendar Chronograph in platinum with that gorgeous black/grey dial
It’s currently at the maison. End October we will fly to Geneva to visit the manufacture, watch how the master engraver will engrave some special wording in it and followed by a tour.
Only then will I be able to take pictures and post them on this forum

...this watch (in all its metals) is the most beautiful in their collection.

...but using stars as markers is the kind of thing nobody does anymore...or at least not nearly as well. It’s charming as hell : )

Ha I never knew you had this BU easy in your collection. It is one of my very most favorite ALS. Perhaps I should come to Paris, we can put this beauty next to the 1921 and make a joint photo shoot

Merci Nicolas, it is not as complex as I thought it would be but it is sharply executed and there is everything to be proud of.
I wish there were more astronomical references in modern and « affordable » watches, just like this Lange.
