while I recently lauded LF for leaving their tourbillon behind the dial, I have to give credit to A. Lange & Sohne for this 1815 tourbillon
at, at 39.5mm it might just suit my wrist if not my budget ...

I started to understand and appreciate seeing these proudly on the front. As they said: if you've got it, flaunt it. This 1815 Tourbillon is absolutely stunning.
This is a beautiful watch as all Langes are (especially from a technical standpoint).
For years having a tourbillon was one of my dreams. For some reason now however well made I can only see a big hole in the dial. Just not for me.

This one gets my vote. If you like and want a tourbillion, it's in the right place IMO
Members are split between having a tourbillon on the dial or have it placed with the movement. I am definitely a fan of having a tourbillon on the front, where I can appreciate it all day on my wrist. It's such a marvel to look at. And seeing it spinging ...
