Why are there no gold chatons in Lange‘s automatic watches?
A sales person at an AD mentioned costs being the reason, but do you have any other ideas?
Isn't the L086.5 itself an exercise in cost cutting?
I'm not convinced that the cost argument fails. Certainly the L086.5 automatic movement from Lange is not nearly as nice as, e.g., the original Langematik movement; and frankly I feel the L086.5 is somewhat underwhelming in hand. Cheers, John
