I can imagine the watch with your description. I think subtle exterior and inner beauty describes this well. Gorgeous movement.
So the sweet seconds is both Jumping seconds / stop seconds then? Do both the subsidiary and sweep stop when the crown is pulled?
Thanks again

Still long ways to hit that grail, and really by then I’ll just sit back and enjoy what I have currently.

Beautiful trio. What are your first impressions of the hommage for Walter Lange?

How is it to wind? The hacking seconds? The feel on your wrist? The finishing? This 1815 intrigued me a lot. Thank you and congratulations.

My first impression is this watch has that philosophy of a hidden and inner beauty.

I posted the movement in an earlier post. It’s mesmerizing, see the finishing. The winding is different from a manual because I couldn’t feel or hear much clicking, like the 1815 HG manual wind. The winding is so smooth and the pusher feel is crisp, simil...

The sweep seconds is a jumping seconds, like a quartz...and the pusher at 2 only start/stop, no reset. You have to wait till it reaches 12 and stop it if OCD , which I always do. Yes, both hands stop when crown is pulled.

Thanks for sharing this fabulous trio, Raymond.

Lange is one of my favourite brands, since they have fantastic pieces that easily fly under the radar. The Emil is so romantic and classy, I wish I could strap one on my wrist sooner or later. Wear them in the best of your health, Max

You’re very welcome, Max.
