I think of rose gold as a passing fad, something to fill the void until "real" gold comes back again. Yellow gold is what captivates us in museums. It's timeless.
Speaking of passing fads in gold, I've wondered why we haven't seen more green gold watch cases since I think the first part of the 20th century. Green gold wouldn't have mass market appeal, but I'm surprised we haven't seen the occasional green gold limited edition, or small-batch watch in green gold produced by one of the independents.
