I must have a strange attraction to Langes that the majority of the community finds a sacrilege,a no-no,devil s own. I ve seen and tryed the new Datograph tonight...well the outcome was.....I love it! I am sorry to tackle such a legend but the extra mm gi...  

If I keep on looking I might find another one....I doubt it....Its just that I love tha brand so much that I HAVE to find something good Mo

But I was an unconiditional fan of THE Dato, the one and only one. 1 mm more rather than two, why not. But the subtle and powerful balance of the dial was really something. Now, it is not the case anymore. I find it sad. Best, Nicolas

Also as a new version: the bench mark in a classic chrono. Much, much more a true chrono than the counterpart from Geneva: a beat ratio that makes much more sense and a scaling that is also actually correct! But overall: a very desirable design. Here 41 m...

I am still a fan of the original but like the Dato PR in that its a good transition from a mechanical point of view. It keeps the old DNA and enhnances with substance. Perhaps we will see a Dato dual time in due course?

I think that after a rocky start this new dato is gathering more and more fans that start looking at it with interest.... Dual time Dato?Could be an idea...... Yours Mo

I've never been a huge chronograph fan in general. But I really like the new Dato, especially compared to the old one. I find the dial to be cleaner and less cluttered. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

For what you say to come true! Alot of beauties is not, one or two is probably true I hear that analogy alot about the Bugatti, but i'd say well being the poor state i am in, i MUST be able to use it! Honestly though, i have never warmed up to the complic... 

I am also much more driven by these two properties of a watch than by complications. Having said that: a perpet. calendar is quite tempting also , if it is the kind of the 5159 ... a very Langesque watch, by the way. Speaking of Patek already: I feel Pate...

I only use a chronograph when I need one, a few times in the week, and then take it off for sonething, say - horologicaly more intimate. I won't bore you explaining about why and how. It is not within a working environment but in my sometimes unpredictabl...

i have one of the last three then available in Switzerland and it has never let me down - not yet , anyway. In fact, it performs beautifully and accurately. I happened to have mine on this morning for boiling a powdered soup down to the second. But it is ...

Hello Amery! My point about Stephen's next Lange having a diamond endstone was more to stress the magnitude of his next watch. Same does Lange and uses the single diamond only in very special pieces, as you know. Now, I personally do not dislike a diamond...

But i already have one that i am more than contented with! Maybe not in the league of Lange, but this is ALL i need! Like i said, i was never fond of Chronos! Tschuss Stephen...  

The Panerai is of course stunningly beautiful. So are many other chronos - not that many, but there are more than a few around. It breaks down into two general catagories: those who buy a chrono because they find the chrono function useful for them; those... 

Such as when my plane is running down the runway during take off, and i measure the time it takes from engines powering up to lift off! What i meant though is that chronographs are not at the top of my list, simply because they dont contribute to the rate... 

I have a lot of chronos. You are absolutely correct. You don't use them that much. But pick up the Lange. Push the buttons. The butter feelings to die for. If you try other brands it is not the same. Look at the sweep second, especially in the right light...

The previous Dato had its shortcomings IMO, such as the low PR and the height/width ratio and never felt totally comfortable on my wrist. The next big jump would then be to the Double Split which again wasn't exactly the right fit for me, being just a tad... 

I share your comment on this new Dato for sure. As for its price..too steep I agree but patience is a virtue,sooner or later one will pop up at the right price.....the matket is a great leveller.....I am sure. Thats why I don t jump quickly anymore but wa... 

This Datograph is a very successful evolution of the Datograph. We know that touching an icon is a difficult task and Lange managed to do it. Fx

I must admit its presence on the wrist is more ....me.I like it. For the moment I am happy to have found something I like in Lange...but there are other priorities before... Mo

a stare into any Datograph is like staring into the eyes of the Medusa! Thereafter you just part your money without thinking for one! hahaha. Ok, I have a few occasions to see this in the flesh but I couldn't make it. Perhaps a blessing in disguise? enjoy...

Initially it seemed almost wrong, compared to the classic. But on its own merits I now find myself fery fond of it. Balanced, clean, modern, well proportioned. I'm a fan.
