Funny you should mention Rolex
I just picked up a SS Daytona two weeks ago from my AD. Nice watch but I got tired of being asked if it was real. You see the collection that I have ( I also have about 6 Panerai that are in another box) and I get asked if the Daytona is real? I also realized that I am not a SS bracelet kind of guy. The two week old Daytona is now being sold by a Jeweler friend of mine to one of his dearest customers. The client was brought to tears when he was told there was a Daytona available to him, I don't get it.

Honestly - who cares.............
if people ask if it's real or not. If one is not crazy about a watch, for themselves, that's fine. But to be influenced out of a watch because of what others think............hmmm................... If I judged my passion for timepieces by what others tho...
