Just a day or two, depending on they're work load. Not sure if there is a cost if all you want is a Certificate, other than possibly a small charge to check the watch; there actually might be no cost at all. I suggest that you give them a call or email them. The number can be found on the Lange website. Alkis and Stacy are really nice folks.

The papers are a Certificate of Origin, and can be obtained through the Lange service center in NYC. They must see your watch in order to obtain them, however the watch doesn't need to be sent to Germany. It takes less than a month for them to arrive once...
