Assuming a screw-in crown for the water resistence

does it also lock the pushers for date and weekday so that they can not be accidentally changed?

This has happened to me on a couple of watches from another brand, now defunct except in name - Maurice Lacroix with their famous retrograde calander - when grasping and winding it by hand (and they did make some fine watches for their Masterpiece collection).

Vital for any watch with a date-adjustment or a related pusher!

Great to see the photographs. As you say, it would be very interesting to see this on a rubber strap as well.

I actually think it will look very sleek and nice on a nice rubber

I am sure Lange is aware and planning something

Good question

Based on my recollection I don’t think the pushers are locked when the crown is screwed in.

Assuming that the pushers are equally water resistent to a screw-on crown, if they can not be locked - something unpleasant could happen if activated under water! Still a watch that appeals to me despite it being marketed as a sports watch and made to fit...
