Hello, I'm new so hopefully I'm doing this right. I'm looking at various timepieces for my next watch and was wondering if some of the experts out there had an opinion on the two timepieces shown in message title. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated....

Well, your question is really tough as they are very different watches. The way the chronograph function is displayed, the complications combination, the size, the way the movement is decorated and appears to the wearer... I guess the live experience is m...

The 5905 is a step down from the 5960 in terms of dial appearance; the fonts appeared awkward and the hands too contemporary in a waY That lacks character. As compared to datograph, you have to agree the movement in pp is less fantastic, and the rotor alw... 

The 5905 looks like the 5960 and 5205 got together and had a very large baby the 5905. Dato hands down IMHO since you ask. The movement and finishing is second to none plus manual vs automatic. Of course I prefer the original Dato in platinum like many he... 

I would choose it in a heartbeat. There is nothing as beautiful as the movement on it. It puts PP to shame.
