Abe’s recent posts on Lange 1 with Guilloche dials reminded me that I have not worn mine for awhile. I need to visit the bank soon. in the meantime, here are some WS and still photos from my phone. So much wonderful details on the dial, one can lose a few...
Very fun watch to photograph though a bit challenging! The watch is in the safe now and let me check next time. From memory, mine is definitely not the LE and it's not numbered. So it is likely that mine is just a Soiree and may not be from the Sincere re...
Yes, I have the WG version, 110.030. It was my first Lange. That reference was initially offered exclusively by Sincere for about a year and was then offered more widely through other Lange ADs. These guilloche versions were not initially called "Soiree."...
Interesting to read that Lange adopted the nickname Soiree in the later years and I am glad they did, even though it might lead to a little confusion. Also, a very nice shot of your White Gold. Best.
I tried to fine this on a few other sites. Correct me if I am wrong. Is it a 37mm case? Most of the places call it a ladies watch. If so what would you call the Rolex Day Date 36?
... other guilloche dial Lange 1 models in the smaller 36mm size. If you see a protruding rectangular date corrector pusher at 10 o'clock, then it's 38.5mm. If the pusher is not visible from the top of the watch (because it's recessed), then it's the smal...

Hi CR, i am confused between this watch and the stealth. Could you please tell your thoughts and also how much should I pay for this ( a second-hand dealer is asking me $23k)
The Stealth (101.025) has a platinum case and rhodium dial. My watch (110.030) has a white gold case and mother-of-pearl dial. The Stealth was in production for a longer period of time. More Stealths exist, and the Stealth is generally a more popular and ...
For the Lange 1 20th anniversary in 2014, Lange produce these five sets as the picture below.. Very cool also! Thank you for kind words! Best regards ...
These dials are difficult to photograph in ways that adequately capture their beauty. In brighter (normal) light, they look largely white. In dimmer lighting, you get that amazing prismatic effect and can see many more colors.
I do not recall seeing any videos in the past. The MOP dial colour changes a lot depending on lighting condition. It looks vibrant under studio type of lightings like the last photo. It looks sedated and pale under cloudy type of lighting as in my second ...
