Some PCC have come with manual winding boxes that will wind for you. I have some with very small crowns and it is slightly tedious

Whilst the Zeitwerk and the Lange 1 Moon Phase are among the Langes with the strongest winding resistance (for different reasons), it shouldn’t ever reach the point where it is not doable - with focus. Having a tool or machine aid you / do it for you soun... 

If the winding becomes so arduous that OP cannot wind it with manual force alone, that hints at either a problem with the watch or a medical one. If, however, it's just annoying...then I fear that's a case of 'buyer beware'.

I hesitate to frame this as a complaint. It’s very much a first-world observation, and I feel fortunate to even be in the position. I rotate my watches frequently and in relatively short intervals, which makes the difference especially apparent when I ret...

That description made me smile as well. Only those who live with a Zeitwerk know its kind of poetry: admiration of its horological magic and occasional annoyance, living comfortably side by side.

It's definitely stiffer as you approach the top end of the PR, but it shouldn't require a tool? I had the 2nd gen (not the new long PR) and it was stiff for sure...but not so bad I needed a tool.
