The movement of the Cabaret is discreetly hidden behind the Art Deco dial. A look through the sapphire crystal is definitely worthwhile. What do you think? ...  

personally I thing the large date overwhelms the face of it.

The whole face of the watch is so what Lange. This differentiates the Cabaret unmistakably from the JLC Reverse (which I also like very much).

I would like to see how the treat a new version, I would suggest dial coloured date wheels as mentioned above, and also perhaps returning the ampersand i=on the dial signature to the next line for a cleaner typographic alignment... odd or even, I think an... 

...but you could shrink the type down to fit on a single line...

But who am I to argue with the germans (or swiss) about typesetting.

...(only 2 lines) is a problem, especially as the logotype letters are set in stone (or should be). A graphic designer doesn't have the option to slide one letter a little bit left or right. Don't worry about criticizing the Swiss or Germans about type. A...

. I’m helping a friend find a clean example at a decent price, bc I believe that this line is very Lange. Too bad the platinum versions are much rarer and much more expensive, or else I’d grab one for myself
