Let's play a game !

 By: foversta : July 3rd, 2010-13:24
Well... there is absolutely nothing to win but I propose you this game: let's post pics of Lange watches which are Limited Editions dedicated to AD . I start with: Datograph Pisa (Italy): Lange 1 Hausmann (Italy): Tourbograph Dubail (France, pièce unique)...

Well, you already put them all, or almost.

Maybe this one, but I don't remember if it was released for the Italian Market, or for an Italian Dealer... I think it was released for the Italian Market, but I'm not sure anymore: It is the Lange 1 silver dial, blue indexes and hands. Best, Nicolas

no, no, there are a lot of more LE !

Especially in Germany... Fr.Xavier

Well... hopefully not ! ;-)

This watch was not my cup of tea, well, not my cup of coffee I would say for a Note Romana watch. It had a very short life. It was not supposed to be a LE when it was unveiled. Some AD got it. Then Lange "killed" it. Fr.Xavier This message has been edited...

Not the best LE

One that seems to have been missed...

 By: Bry_j1 : July 3rd, 2010-19:32
It never got much press... few LE's do... but the Wempe 1815 Sidestep fits the bill. The dial is unassuming: But I've always been a man fond of the reverse side of things And this one does not disappoint: 75 pieces were made in Rose Gold... 50 in Platinum...

The small second at 4 is a bit weird...

 By: amanico : July 3rd, 2010-22:49
It ruins the balance of the dial. Strange! I don't remember having seen this one, even in picture. Thanks! Nicolas

The symmetry is a bit askew...

 By: Bry_j1 : July 3rd, 2010-23:47
The symmetry is not like the standard "6-eater" 1815's or many others of that design... but I don't let it bother me too much. The common "complaint" is that the Sidestep is the moonphase 1815, only without the moonphase. There are many examples of watche...

It is basically an 1815 up and down without the power reserve display.

That's the reason why of the location of the second hand subdial. Fr.Xavier

Thanks a lot for the 1815 step aside ! [nt]

Hi there, there was an 150 pcs edition of a 1815 Calender-week (pic found at the Internet) btw. the Calender-week is only useful in Germany because in other parts of the world the calender week plays not a role in business life. Best regards stere...

Langes at Dubail...

By: COUNT DE MONET : July 13th, 2010-01:11
Last year there were next to that diamond "coated" Turbograph also a few Lange 1s with diamond bezel and also a Perpetual or a Chrono with diamond bezel and diamond pave dial. THEY LOOKED REALLY NICE !!! Are these also special editions for Dubail ? Did no...
