Finally, after many sleepless nights battling between the up/down vs 1815 40mm. I got the 1815 40mm WG, love it !!!! Driving this morning to my AD to pick it up, listening to nice jazz, sky was blue, magical day... what a great day to pick up a new Lange ...  

And a very nice photo. the blue hands, BMW logo and the shirt all match up very nicely.

I much prefer the winding feeling with the 40mm 1815 than with the up&down... Matter of taste! Congrats! Fx

Congratulations on a very fine and elegant piece. What was it that tilted your choice toward this instead of the up/down?

I saw both side to side, both amazing. Just found the up/down a bit smaller and thinner for me, the 40mm case is a bit different design more modern, in addition the 40mm dial more pure and clean for my taste. Don't get me wrong the up/down is an amazing p... 

choose this over the 1815 Up/Down? I love both of them, and I hope my next watch will be a Lange.

even at 1mm difference it is a difference, and thickness as well, as far as the dial, both to die for. The case of the 40mm is a bit different, it is the old style case which is to me much nicer. The new case meant to show the watch much thiner which i ac...

it is a special watch, I got many watches Rolex, BP,AP, Panerai, Breguet nothing compare to the Lange finish !
