Need Help! Lange 1 or Lange 1 MP
This will be my second Lange and I need the iconic Lange 1 in my collection. I can purchase the Lange 1 in white/yellow/rose gold. Alternatively, I can purchase the Lange 1 MP in white gold (black dial). I have the datograph and part of me thinks the orig...
My Dato is a black dial but….
One of my concerns with the yellow Lange 1 is that it may be too dressy to wear often. I typically dress on the casual side.
Agree, the colored metals are dressier. I do it anyway, even with jeans.
But you should buy what you’ll enjoy more, and don’t buy if you have reservations. If you love the black dial moonphase more, then go for it. ...
I'd probably go with the moonphase. It just adds that little bit of extra color on the dial that I think suits the design well.
But yellow gold on a lange 1 is a good choice too, you'd be making up for the more plain dial with the colored gold. Really, you can't go wrong either way I think!

I always prefer something with a little twist so I would choose the L1 MP…
Like other members said if both are black dials then you can choose a different option dial to compliment your Dato. This is of course up to you because you can always add a 3rd 😬 ...

Of course you must make the decision based upon what feels right for you. The one that sings to you is the right watch for you!
