+1 - prefer the original because things that I actually see and experience overshadow those that I don't....

To my eye, the original movement is much more aesthetically pleasing. That matters more to me than the knowledge that the newer movement contains technical improvements. Of course, I might feel differently if I actually experienced problems with the origi...

The new one is more cleverly designed but the first one is nicer: I prefer that the regulating organ is located opposite to the crown and not by the crown. The first movement was more balanced and the extra bridges were breaking the uniformity of the 3/4 ...
